The existence of Muslims as a minority group on the border of Aceh and North Sumatra faces several problems. This study was conducted because wanted to examine the problems of the ummah, especially those who live in the Aceh-Sumut border area where Muslims are a minority and their fate is not very good. Besides the lack of mastery of Islamic sciences, their understanding of their religion is very shallow, there is no effort to improve their knowledge, and there is no effort from Muslims, especially the Muslim government, to send da'i to these remote areas. This study is survey in nature and the methods used in data collection are interviews and surveys. The results of this study found that as long as the guardian da'i of the ummah or border da'i were not sent to each of these areas, and also the absence of scholars to the area, the fate of the ummah was increasingly tossed around and the efforts of apostasy were increasingly fertile. Here the role of the Aceh Border Da'wah Forum (FDP) and the Aceh Islamic Da'wah Council and other Islamic organizations is needed as they have been doing in the Aceh-Sumut border area.Downloads
